Can my player register to play in Bastrop Little League?
Any player who lives within our league boundaries or attends a school within our boundaries may play for Bastrop Little League. To find out if your residence or school is within our boundaries visit the

What division should I register my player for?
Your player's division is determined by
league age. League age is calculated differently for baseball and softball. You can use the
Little League Age Calculator to determine your player's league age. Our divisions are:

Do you offer refunds for registration?
We are happy to provide a full refund for your registration up to the day of team assignment. Refunds after team assignments require board review and are available only under certain circumstances.
Is it too late to register?
It depends. We want every player who wants to play have the opportunity to do so. We will do everything possible to get your player on a team but there are some circumstances that make it difficult to allow a late registration.
- We recruit coaches to meet the needs of the players registered at the time of player evaluations. We will not allow late registrations in divisions where the teams are full.
- We order uniforms very soon after the first practice. If we cannot get uniforms in time, we will not allow late registrations.
- We try to ensure that all teams are selected in accordance with the rules set forth by Little League International. These rules are put in place to help keep the game enjoyable for all participants and avoid team stacking.
If my player doesn't make it to the player evaluations, will (s)he still make a team?
Yes! Player evaluations are a tool we use in the spring season to help the managers and coaches gauge the skill level of players. This puts all of the managers on an even playing field during the draft process. If your player does not attend, they will not be able to be selected during the draft. They will be assigned to a team based on a hat pick at the end of the draft.
Can I request a particular coach?
We do not allow or honor coaching requests at any division above tee ball.
Majors division teams and above will remain on team as long as they are continuously registered. If you wish your player to reenter the draft this season, contact your player agent.
My player was drafted to team X, how do I get my player on team Y?
There is a trade process that allows players to move between teams. These are the steps to make it happen:
- Talk with your team manager and discuss the trade and reasons.
- The team manager will contact the other team and discuss a trade. Trades must be made player for player.
- The team managers will contact the Player Agent who will contact both players families and determine if the trade is acceptable.
- If the trade is approved, the players will be exchanged.
